CrossFit Games 2021 is nearing and many participants are excited. Besides the usual competitions like the men's, women's events will also take place. We're all familiar with the Reebok's equipment, the Pegboard contest, and the Cutting system. But what do we know about the womens' competition? Continue reading to learn more! Women's competition

The swim event was the start of the women's division at the 2021 Crossfit Games. Jonne Koski and Tia-Clair Toomey Orr won the first event. Koski was the overall champion after she maintained her lead throughout. Tall finished second and Eramoo O’Connell third, respectively. It was the first Games event by women. The women's side wanted to complete the podium.

The women's competition is filled with top-level athletes. The field features nine athletes, including a 19 year-old Australian powerhouse who won this competition last year. Kara Saunders (Australian athlete) finished second in Australia. She was also eleventh worldwide for 2020. Another rising star is Andrea Nisler, who competed in the team division in 2018 and finished third in the United States and fifteenth overall in 2020. In addition to these athletes, the Women's competition will also feature a newcomer to the sport - Icelandan competitor Sara Sigmundsdottir, who won the first place medal in the World Crossfit Games earlier this year.

Pegboard contest

Reebok's equipment

Reebok recently announced new CrossFit Games equipment, including clothing and shoes. Nano X1 will be the new shoes. They can be used for multiple fitness goals.
