CrossFit Games 2021 will be taking place in a few weeks and many CrossFit Games participants are very excited. Other than the traditional CrossFit Games, events for women will be held. The competition for women

The 2021 Crossfit Games women's competition opened this morning with a swim event. Jonne Koski was the winner in the first race. Tia Clair Toomey Orr was also victorious. Koski won the overall competition after maintaining her lead all the way. Tall and Eramo O'Connell finished second and third, respectively. It was the women's first event in the Games and the women's side was hoping to complete the podium.

The field is full of top-level athletes in the women's competition. The field comprises nine athletes, one of whom is a teenager who won the competition in Australia last summer. Kara Saunders (Australian athlete) finished second in Australia. She was also eleventh worldwide for 2020. Andrea Nisler is another rising star. She competed in the team category in 2018 and placed third in the United States, and 15th overall in 2020. The Women's competition will feature these athletes as well as Sara Sigmundsdottir (an Icelandan competitor who won the first place medal at World Crossfit Games earlier last year).

Pegboard contest

Pegboard contest at Crossfit Games 2121 was a new concept. It was added to the Games' summer Olympic program along with double-unders and dumbbell overhead squats. Toomey-Orr won 30 of the Games' most events, setting a new record. Sager won Event 11 men's and received his third Games win. There were several ties in the contest, but Toomey-Orr's dominance was not enough to keep him out of the win.

CrossFit Games athletes train by focusing on ten core physical skills: strength, flexibility and speed. Pegboard is a contest that tests competitor's grip strength as well as coordination. Cutting system

The top 30 then compete in a sprint couplet to determine the top ten. From there, the top 20 athletes compete in the remaining six events. Castro's system was criticized by veterans Games participants who felt the cuts were too large.

The company will no more refer to itself by the name "Reebok Fitness Games", as it does right now.
